Cosmetologie 2010 : Beauty Wellness & Trends

Now on its second year, the country's only true trade show on beauty, wellness and trends was again successfully launched in SMX Convention Center, February of 2010.


 
The show opened marvelously with the induction of the board of the
Philippine International Cosmetologists Assoc. as Ms. Lucy Torres gave the toast.
 
Lourd Ramos of Emphasis Salon did the openign salvo as he gave a
presentation of hair cutting, coloring and styling ala Lady Gaga
 
Exhibitors had a field day selling to professionals and beauty enthusiasts.
A real marriage of beauty and fashion was seen in the 2-day event.
 
Fred Penales of Hairshaft showedcased his hair trends for 2010.
A Touch of Excellence : a hair and makeup competition was a new addition.
 
Exhibitors like L'Oreal Paris unveiled their own fashion forecasts.
Local stylists like Edwin Samut was not to be left behind.
 
Making a fashion statement with his high hairstlye creation was Ness Astillia
as the crowd watched in great attention.
 
The competition was both intense and friendly and the quality of beauty judges
was without question like Pin Antonio, Elvie Pineda and TF
 
Several celebrities graciously shared their time like Ciara Sotto.
With competitions going on for the entire 2 days, the atmosphere was intense.
 
Bridal makeup is always a favorite of the audience, being a woman's most awaited
day.  Going futuristic, a sampling of face and body paint on stage.
 
Beautiful ladies, beautiful faces, beautiful make-up, beautiful dresses ...
Cosmetologie Expo is where beautiful people gather every year.
 
Not to be missed out is the beauty expert herself, Dra. Vicky Belo.
The winners got P50,000.00, a trophy and the prestige of being the best of the best.
 
Beauty services - from nails, to face, to hair, even massages were available
throughout the trade floor, because it takes a lot of work to be beautiful.

Trade shows serve a very important to industries as it jumpstarts business activity.

TF, Crystal Bello, Aureo Alonso, Tim Yap were on hand as a winner receives the
award.  The best stylists in the country came to compete.
 
Teaching trends on the art of applying makeup kept the audience well informed.
Fashion was as much a part of the expo as with hair and make up.
 
Cutting styles for men and women went front and center for both the competition
